We left Bangalore with a car and driver to head south to Mysore, north then to Chikmagalur, Hampi and Hubli, then west to finish on the coast at Calagute in the state of Goa.
India is a land of massive differences – from the very rich to the very poor, from the use of the latest in technology to the use of tools from the middle ages. Our trip focused on the history of this area of India. This story is told in the temples and castles.
